Very cool.
I've always loved planes. I envy your job.
Thanks for sharing.

Ah, but I beg to differ, Fritz! I grew up on an Air Force Base and to this day miss the roar and the house vibration from low-flying F4's.
Planes are indeed, very cool, as was your internship schakal.

best part about planes is when ur traveling in one, and your taking off (preferably in a window seat) look out of the window as the plane is accelerating and then pretend your running (imitate it) lol its sooo coool.................................................................................................................................................................
i repeat .............................................................................................................................................

Hyper X Scheduled to Fly
If you have NASA TV on your cable or sat service you might want to check out the live coverage of Saturday’s (03/27) scheduled X-43A hypersonic research vehicle flight beginning at noon Pacific time.
A NASA Dryden Flight Research Center B-52 aircraft from Edwards Air Force Base is scheduled to carry the X-43A to an area off the California coast where it will be launched over the Pacific Ocean for a flight planned to reach Mach 7.
If you live in the Point Mugu area of the California Coast you might catch the launch (albeit 40K feet might be hard to find unless the B52 has smoke tracking turned on or until the Pegasus booster fires).
X-43A ,http://www.nasa.gov/missions/research/x43-main.html
NASA -TV ,scrool down and hit the link for (if you have RealPlayer or Windows Media ) they are sitting on the ramp now live -TV
