Has the Dev team thought of getting DARKSPACE put on STEAM, maybe get some additional exposure, money?

Don't know if they would take us honestly... since our GameCQ competes with their steam.... not to mention the work it would take to rip out all the gamecq stuff and use the steam server infrastructure instead.

Giving my honest opinion.
DarkSpace whiteout a multi chat room system is almost unthinkable, DS evolved around a chatting and sharing as a community and i don't think that this combination should be abandoned.
Having DarkSpace on Steam would get more attention, revenue, and other things but it would lose one thing that i find made this game standout of the few others..
Steam might be a wonderful distribution platform but the friends and communication system are more of the facebook equivalent.
You won't know your fellow players until you actually try to talk to them, but most players would not be talking, just playing the game and talk to there own friends.
My 3 solid euro cents.
