Apologies if this is the wrong forum (or whatever; I'd hate for it to get lost in all the traffic), but is the lobby up for licensing? Is there a way to portion just that small piece out? Do you (Faustus) have a pay/cost-scale for something like this?
Just curious, as I've been looking around and seen some games that may or may not benefit from something like a lobby.

I am actually curious as to the response of this, if any.

I've already licended it to Derek Smart of 3000AD...
So, the answer is yes... in fact, I've been making changes necessary to the lobby to allow Palestar to actually publish games using GameCQ. This would include billing support, community support, this lobby, etc...

GameCQ, is the PHP/SQL system that this site is built on correct? It looks great for who ever did it. I'm doing a php/SQL site and its taking a lot of time seeing as I'm doing it by hand and i have to add in all the link into config.php and haven't even thought about starting a GUI for the admin preferences. Just wondering what language are you building this in?

Kind of... GameCQ is the actual out-of-game application that is linked with the website (ok, you can access it in the game too from commands): it updates the game, has chat rooms, you can view game servers, ect...
It's a nice system. Rare to find newer games with something like this, and it is (in my mind) the best way to add solid support for games. Which is also interesting because some games do have this kind of system, however its on the side, not as developed, and no one uses them. This actually throws you into the chat as soon as you launch the game, so your right in with the community as you begin. These are the kind of systems that build nice communities for games.

GameCQ is the "lobby" we all talk in.
It automaticly keeps your games up to date.
Can control several games.
Can list servers for those games, as well as game tools for developers.
The site itself is an early, and heavily modified version of PHP-Nuke - to an extent of which it can't really be called PHP-Nuke anymore.
